4 aspherical and 2 ED (extra low dispersion) elements offer high resolution in the 24-50 mm zoom range. Glare, ghosting and color dispersion are attenuated for sharp images and the F2.8 with an 11-blade circular aperture unit creates stunning bokeh with the G lens. Maximum magnification is 0.3x (AF)/0.33x (MF) with a minimum focal length of 0.19 m (AF)/0.18 m (MF) at wide angle for magnificent close-ups.
