Sonys latest flash units communicate with the α7 IV thanks to advanced face detection, adjusting exposure and offering natural skin tones6. Precise white balance synchronization and P-TTL metering, up to a "High" level of continuous burst speeds. External control of flash units

The α7? Ver1.1 supports separate registration of shutter speed7 and ISO sensitivity to turn the flash on/off. For added shooting convenience, the flash and wireless radio control units connected to the α7 IV can be controlled from the camera interface.

Sonys AI-based real-time tracking

The single object detection algorithm uses color, pattern (brightness) and object distance (depth) data to process spatial information in real time. The AI makes it possible to detect and track the eyes and face of the object (human or animal) with high precision. Simply select the object to track and leave the rest to the camera.

Improved real-time eye AF

The high speed of the latest image processing engine improves real-time eye AF, even when the subject is looking in another direction.
